MDL’s successful South Coast Boat Show at Ocean Village will feature the company’s Green Tech Boat Show in 2023.
The Green Tech Boat Show, a showcase for innovators in sustainable boating, has been held at Queen Anne’s Battery marina in Plymouth.
That event will now move to the River Itchen, where Ocean Village already hosts the South Coast event in April.
MDL said of the South Coast Boat Show: “With over seventy new boats on display to explore this is an ideal opportunity for serious buyers who want to experience a high-quality range of boats in stunning surroundings.
“Featuring the marine industry’s most exciting and innovative global power and sail brands, the South Coast Boat Show will also showcase an extensive range of ancillary services such as associated gear, finance and insurance.
“Owing to its carefully curated selection of boats ready to go, the show is an absolute must for serious buyers who are looking to purchase a brand-new vessel immediately to get out on the water this coming season, or within the next 6-18 months.”
Visitor attendance is free and appointments to view the boats on display can be made directly with the yacht broker.
2023 will be the third edition of the Green Tech Boat Show. MDL said: “At MDL, we’re fully committed to a cleaner, greener future.
“Over the last few years, we’ve been truly delighted to watch the scales tip from the minority aiming to be environmentally responsible to the majority. We also know that boat owners want to see the revolution that’s taking place in their work environments reflected in their leisure time.
“But it’s confusing. While more and more companies in the marine world are focused on bringing green technologies to the fore in practical ways to enhance sailing experiences, some consumers can struggle to unpick the sustainable options now available to them.
“This is why we’re putting together an event that presents the information in a practical way, showcased next to other green technologies. This will allow consumers to understand what the total offering could be, and how they can help the environment by investing in green technology today.
“The show is specifically designed for boat owners wishing to make the switch to greener options, and prospective owners who’d like to start their boating journey in the most environmentally friendly way possible. You can also enjoy live music, trips around the harbour in an electrically powered ferry, and delicious food and beverage available on-site.”
Next Show: 21-23 April 2023 | 10am to 6pm
